Nebraska CME Requirements for MD and DO Physicians

CME Requirements:

  • Total CME Credits Required: 50 hours every 2 years
  • Category 1 Credits Required: All 50 hours must be in AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
  • Controlled Substances Education: Effective October 1, 2018, physicians who prescribe controlled substances must complete at least three (3) hours of CME biennially regarding prescribing opioids, of which one half hour shall cover PDMPs.
