Florida CME Requirements for MD Physicians:
- Total CME Credits Required: 40 hours every 2 years
- Credit Type: All CME must be AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.

- First-time license renewal: 1 hour on HIV/AIDS, 2 hours on prevention of medical errors
- Subsequent renewals: 2 hours on prevention of medical errors
- Every third renewal: 2 hours on prevention of medical errors and 2 hours on domestic violence
